Training plans and race-day pacing

Pace Charts & Converters

Pace charts and converters for race day and the treadmill. Every table is calculated, printable and has a calculator for your own goal time.

What is here

The marathon pace chart, half marathon pace chart, 10K pace chart and 5K pace chart list every finish time in the range most runners race, with the pace per mile and per kilometre and the split times along the way. The treadmill pace chart and the mph to minutes per mile converter turn belt speed into pace, and the treadmill incline calculator estimates how much an incline changes the effort. The sub 4 and sub 3 hour marathon pages give the splits for the two most common marathon goals.

All tables are calculated in your browser from the distance and time, so they match the pace calculator exactly. Incline figures are estimates based on published measurements; the sources are on the methodology page.
