Race Day Tools
Tools for the weeks before a race and the morning of it: plan your splits, predict your time, print a pace band and check your Boston qualifying standard.
What is here
The race pace calculator turns a goal time into a split for every mile or kilometre, with even, negative or positive pacing. The race time predictor estimates your time at other distances from one race, and the training pace calculator turns that race into easy, tempo and interval paces. For the race itself, the pace band generator prints a wristband with your target time at every marker, and the Boston qualifying times page shows the 2027 standards with a calculator for your age group.
Predictions use published formulas (Riegel 1981 and Daniels & Gilbert 1979); how they work and where they are less reliable is explained on the methodology page.
